Finding I AM, how Jesus fully satisfies the cry of your heart by Lysa TerKeurst

Description: Just in time for Lent, we invite you to join us to study bestselling author Lysa TerKeurst’s latest DVD-based Bible study, Finding I Am, How Jesus Fully Satisfies the Cry of Your Heart. The course adds dimension since the DVDs were filmed in Israel at sites where Jesus lived, taught, and performed miracles.

Lysa explores the seven I AM statements of Jesus, found in the Gospel of John, to find Biblical truth that speaks today. Through this interactive, in-depth study, we will identify the unanswered prayers that we keep repeating, the aches in our hearts that can keep us up at night. To overcome this deep, spiritual wrestling, we will find personal fulfillment from learning more about who Jesus was. We will also apply Jesus’ words from 2,000 years ago to the answers we are seeking today.

Confirmation Class

 February 5th, 12th, 26th, March 5th, 12th, and 26th
Retreat: April 7th
Confirmation Sunday: April 8th

Day: Monday

Time: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Location: Center for Spiritual

Leader: Pastor Kevin Young

Cost: $30

Description: All 7th grade students and any unconfirmed 8th graders, are invited to participate in our 6-week Confirmation class. At JupiterFIRST, Confirmation is part of a process by which you and others are introduced to Jesus Christ. You are invited to place your faith and line in His love, to accept Christ as your Lord and Savior, and to become a member of His church.

The purpose of this class is to give you the information and guidance you need to make the Christian faith your very own faith - not something you inherited from your parents, but something you choose of your own free will.

After our six sessions together, you will attend a half day retreat, during which time we will review what we have learned, pray, and share Holy Communion. Then on Confirmation Sunday, you will stand before the members of the church to be recognized for the commitment you have made to Christ.
